Co-Founder, Mobile Pet Healthcare Partners
Hi, I’m Dr. Christina Wattson, DVM. After graduating from OVC in 2018, I began my veterinary career in mixed animal practice and transitioned to small animal emergency medicine following the birth of my first daughter. Over six years in ER, I developed a deep appreciation for palliative and end-of-life care—and a passion for supporting families during life’s hardest decisions.
Launching Mobile Pet Healthcare Partners has allowed me to combine my clinical experience with a lifestyle that keeps me close to my growing family and furred (and hooved) companions. Outside of practice, I love reading, horseback riding, football, and time spent in nature with my husband, two daughters, and our dogs, cats, and horses.

Like many veterinarians, I knew early on that I wanted a life and career surrounded by animals. I was fortunate to be accepted into the Ontario Veterinary College in 2014 and graduated in 2018. My first role brought me to a mixed animal practice in Paisley, Ontario, where my days were filled with small animal care and my nights with large animal emergencies—often at all hours. It was a challenging and deeply rewarding start to my career.
Over time, I found myself drawn more to small animal medicine and transitioned full time into small animal practice, where I’ve worked in both general and emergency settings. Through these experiences, I discovered how profoundly impactful veterinary care can be when it’s delivered in the comfort of a pet’s home—especially during times of illness, declining health, or end of life.
I’m passionate about providing thoughtful, supportive, and medically sound palliative care, helping families navigate complex diagnoses with clarity and compassion. I believe deeply in the importance of gentle, peaceful goodbyes, and consider it a privilege to be able to offer euthanasia services that prioritize dignity and emotional support for both pets and their people.
When I’m not working, I spend most of my time with my wife—also a veterinarian—and our busy family life. I love trail biking with Daisy, our energetic Blue Heeler, and relaxing at home with our other pets. (I occasionally miss my large animal days—but not the 3 a.m. dystocia calls!)
